第六篇　长老的属灵责任
Message Six The Spiritual Responsibility of the Elders
读经：罗十五16，彼前二5，9，约二十一15~17，帖前二7，弗四11~12，来十24~25，林前十四1，31。

壹　实行神命定之路惟一的需要─接触人并定期探访人。
I.　The unique need for practicing the God-ordained way—contacting people and visiting them regularly.
贰　履行新约福音祭司的职分─罗十五16，彼前二5：
II.　Fulfilling the New Testament priesthood of the gospel—Rom. 15:16; 1 Pet. 2:5:
一　在地方召会的众肢体中间带头传福音，得着新的材料，以建造那个地方召会。
A.　Taking the lead among all the members of a local church in gospel preaching to get the new materials for the building up of that local church.
二　为着福音预算时间，制订每周时间表，以赎回光阴。
B.　Redeeming the time by budgeting it to make a weekly schedule for the gospel.
三　为所有我们认识而尚未得救之人的得救祷告，并跟从主的引领，为着福音的缘故，迫切的接触他们。
C.　Praying for the salvation of all our acquaintances who are not saved yet and following the Lord's leading to contact them desperately for the gospel's sake.
四　寻找罪人新的来源，作我们福音的对象。
D.　Seeking new sources of sinners as our gospel candidates.
五　带领罪人认识福音的主要内容。
E.　Leading sinners to know the main content of the gospel.
六　带领罪人得重生并得救。
F.　Leading sinners to be regenerated and saved.
七　带人用灵直接与主有个人的接触。
G.　Bringing people to have a personal contact with the Lord by their spirit directly.
叁　喂养初信者─约二十一15~17，帖前二7：
III.　Feeding the new believers—John 21:15-17; 1 Thes. 2:7:
一　带领初信者认识，主我们的救主乃是赐生命的灵，并认识他们有重生的灵。
A.　Leading the new believers to know that the Lord, our Savior, is a life-giving Spirit, and that they have a regenerated spirit.
二　帮助初信者认识主是灵，活在他们的灵里，并认识他们应当借着祷告，一直操练他们的灵，以接触主这灵。
B.　Helping the new believers to realize that the Lord as the Spirit lives in their spirit and that they should always exercise their spirit by prayer to contact the Lord, the Spirit.
三　教导初信者每早晨祷读几节圣经，好在早晨得复兴，并且每晚就寝前读一章圣经。
C.　Teaching the new believers to pray-read a few verses of the Bible every morning for morning revival and read one chapter before going to bed.
四　借着电话带领他们作以上的事。
D.　Leading them to do so by way of the telephone.
五　每周探访他们一两次，顾到他们属灵的情形，并且像乳母一样喂养他们。
E.　Visiting them one or two times every week to take care of their spiritual condition and nourish them as a nursing mother.
肆　成全圣徒─弗四11~12，来十24~25：
IV.　Perfecting the saints—Eph. 4:11-12; Heb. 10:24-25:
一　与几位圣徒和初信者形成小排。
A.　Forming a small group with a few saints and new believers.
二　带领圣徒在排聚会里实行互相的交通、互相的代求、互相的照顾、和互相的牧养。
B.　Leading the saints to practice mutual fellowship, mutual intercession, mutual care, and mutual shepherding in the group meetings.
三　帮助圣徒也实行彼此问互相答，好有互相的教导。
C.　Helping the saints to also practice mutual asking of questions and mutual answering for mutual teaching.
四　成全并装备圣徒，使他们实行神命定之路的各步骤。
D.　Perfecting and equipping the saints to practice all the steps of the God-ordained way.
伍　申言建造召会─林前十四1，31：
V.　Prophesying to build up the church—1 Cor. 14:1, 31:
一　当面指导几位圣徒申言。
A.　Tutoring a few saints face to face concerning prophesying.
二　帮助他们祷研背讲每周所读材料中的一段经文。
B.　Helping them to PSRP a portion of the Scriptures from their weekly reading.
三　帮助他们将所得灵感写成短篇信息，用以讲说。
C.　Helping them to compose their inspiration into a short message for their speaking.
四　帮助他们事先将信息加以祷告，并寻求那灵在里面的充满和在外面的浇灌。
D.　Helping them to pray the message beforehand and to seek the infilling and outpouring of the Spirit.
五　带领他们在申言聚会以前先有操练，并改正他们，使他们在声音、发表、姿势、声调、速度、和灵的操练上，都有所改进。
E.　Leading them to practice before the prophesying meeting and correcting them in order that they may improve in their voice, utterance, gesture, accent, speed, and the exercise of the spirit.
陆　添言─在长老职分上三件要避免的事：
VI.　An additional word—three things to avoid in the eldership:
一　每一个长老不该看自己比别的长老更高、更有经历、或更好─腓二3~8。
A.　Each of the elders should not regard himself as higher, more experienced, or better than the other elders—Phil. 2:3-8.
二　长老们不该施行任何的控制─彼前五5，弗五21。
B.　The elders should not exercise any kind of control—1 Pet. 5:5; Eph. 5:21.
三　长老们不该想要调整人。
C.　The elders should not adjust people.
