Message Three Spreading the Truths and Perfecting the Young Ones for the Lord's Up-to-date Move throughout the Entire Earth
Scripture Reading: Matt. 28:19; 24:14, 45
I. The Lord's recovery has been commissioned with a big enterprise to spread the Lord's truths:
A. The entire earth is open to the teaching of the truths in the Lord's recovery.
B. The Lord's present charge to us should be: "Go and teach the nations (cf. Matt. 28:19) that the present age may be consummated"—24:14.
C. We should be faithful servants to serve food to the Lord's people at the appointed time—24:45.
D. We do not need to preach our teaching or our kind of doctrine with our terminology; instead, we should go out with all the truths in the Lord's recovery.
E. "Regardless of whether the saints are from Brazil, Australia, New Zealand, Taiwan, England, Thailand, Indonesia, or the United States, we all bear the same burden, take the same way, and spread the same truths. We dispense the truths embodied in the ‘gold bar,' the Recovery Version. We have no other merchandise! If we would be like this, the entire earth will be taken!" (Elders' Training, Book 8: The Life Pulse of the Lord's Present Move, p. 125).
F. "I care for the spreading of the truths so that they can get into the needy hearts. If we spread these truths…we will fulfill the commission of the Lord's recovery. This is where my heart is. I will die to this.…I will not stop until my entire being is exhausted by this ministry. I hope you all will say the same thing" (Elders' Training, Book 8: The Life Pulse of the Lord's Present Move, p. 127).
II. For the spreading of the truths, the elders and leading brothers need to strive to produce young people in all the churches:
A. We need young people to carry out the up-to-date move of the Lord (From The Ministry of the Word in Chinese, vol. 7, pp. 500-507).
B. All the co-workers and all the churches need to pay attention to producing "spiritual descendents" (From The Ministry of the Word in Chinese, vol. 8, p. 793).
C. We should have a strong campus work around all the major campuses in the big cities—"We must work on the campuses. We must gain the present generation of young people for the Lord's recovery.…For this purpose, the elders must rise up, pray much, and fellowship about what to do" (The Ministry, vol. 3, no. 6, p. 15):
1. We should have a proper and practical plan concerning the campuses.
2. We should locate good meeting halls adjacent to good universities.
3. We should mobilize five groups of people: the leading ones, the full- timers, the half-timers, the teachers on campus, and the students (From Abstracts of Trainings on Various Kinds of Services in the Church in Taipei in Chinese, pp. 11-12).
4. There should be brothers' and sisters' houses around the campuses (Ibid., pp. 21-22, 36-40).
5. We should use our publications with skill to capture the seeking young people (Ibid., pp. 43-47, 15).
6. There should be mountain trips to impart vision into the young people (Ibid., pp. 23-24).
7. There should be conferences for college people during summer and winter vacations (Ibid., pp. 25-26).
8. We should seize the orientation week to gain the new students (Ibid., pp. 27-28).
9. We should encourage them to join the full time trainings after they graduate (Ibid., pp. 26-27).
10. We should pray unceasing to cover and saturate our work with the Lord's presence (Ibid., pp. 52-54).
11. "The campuses are also our important targets.…We should work especially to gain the students and to prepare the best material for the Lord's recovery. We should build up a strong testimony on all the campuses" (The Ministry, vol. 3, no. 6, p. 13).
D. We should spend time to fellowship with the young ones and to care for them (From The Ministry of the Word in Chinese, vol. 7, pp. 508-518; The Ministry, vol. 3, no. 2, pp.15-17).
E. We should open up homes to take care of them (Abstracts, pp. 34-35).
F. We should encourage them to follow the Lord and serve the Lord all their lives (From The Ministry of the Word in Chinese, vol. 8, pp. 931-936):
1. By imparting a vision into the young ones to give themselves to the Lord.
2. By encouraging them to join the full time trainings after they graduate.
3. By helping them to learn to trust in the Lord for their living.
G. We should help them to have a vision of the one move of the Lord through the one ministry for the producing of the one Body of Christ to bear the one testimony:
1. By encouraging them to join the international blending conferences and trainings.
2. By encouraging them to participate in the one move in the Body for the spreading of the Lord's testimony in all parts of the earth.
III. The Lord's recovery is in need of more full-time workers who can participate in the Lord's move on the earth today:
A. Full-timers should take care of the needs in their localities:
1. Learning to speak the truth and supply life in the church meetings and the group meetings.
2. Shepherding the saints in their homes.
3. Serving with the young people.
4. Some elders should consider going full-time—1 Tim. 5:17.
B. Full-timers should also participate in the universal move of the Lord throughout the whole earth:
1. The leading ones in all the churches should encourage the full-timers to be trained in the full-time trainings throughout the earth.
2. The churches should also encourage the full timers to participate in the Lord's universal move throughout the whole earth.
IV. Everyone should be a full-timer; some should drop their job while others should keep their job to support the work:
A. There should be one out of every twenty saints who drop their job to serve full-time.
B. The rest should support the job-dropping full-timers by working to support them.
C. Practically each church should set aside an account for the fellowship unto the gospel.
V. All the churches on the entire earth should be in one accord for the Lord's move to consummate the age and to bring in His kingdom.
