Message Three The Way That Leads to Life versus the Way That Leads to Destruction
读经:太七13~14,21~27
Scripture Reading: Matt. 7:13-14, 21-27
壹 “你们要进窄门;因为引到毁坏的,那门宽,那路阔,进去的人也多;引到生命的,那门窄,那路狭,找着的人也少”─太七13~14:
I. "Enter in through the narrow gate, for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and many are those who enter through it. Because narrow is the gate and constricted is the way that leads to life, and few are those who find it"—vv. 13-14:
一 我们在神面前的生活和工作有两条可能的路─引到生命的路,以及引到毁坏的路─21~27节,参十九23~26:
A. There are two possible ways of our life and work before God—the way that leads to life and the way that leads to destruction—vv. 21-27; cf. 19:23-26:
1 狭路是按照神圣的规律,履行属灵的要求,为要带进神的选民,作耶稣基督的见证,以完成神的经纶,为着建造神的召会─基督的身体─约十五5,启一9。
1. The constricted way is according to the divine regulations fulfilling the spiritual requests to bring in God's elect and to bear the testimony of Jesus Christ, carrying out God's economy for the building up of the church of God—the Body of Christ—John 15:5; Rev. 1:9.
2 阔路是按照属世的系统,满足天然的口味,为要得着群众,维持人的事业,成就人的企业─太十三31~33,启二13,20,十七4~5。
2. The broad way is according to the worldly systems, satisfying the natural tastes, to get the crowd, to maintain a career of man, and to achieve man's enterprise—Matt. 13:31-33; Rev. 2:13, 20; 17:4-5.
二 主恢复的路是生命的路,引到来世诸天之国的实现里在生命中活的赏赐─诗十六11,耶二一8,太十九29,路十八30,林前三13~15,十五58。
B. The way of the Lord's recovery is the way of life that leads to a living reward in life in the manifestation of the kingdom of the heavens in the coming age— Psa. 16:11; Jer. 21:8; Matt. 19:29; Luke 18:30; 1 Cor. 3:13-15; 15:58.
贰 新耶路撒冷里只有一条街道─生命的街道─启二一21下,二二1~2:
II. There is only one street in the New Jerusalem—the street of life—Rev. 21:21b; 22:1-2:
一 如果我们在地方召会里,在生命之外有任何别的街道,我们就会失去地方召会的性质,并且会有分裂。
A. If we in the local churches have any streets other than life, we will lose the nature of the local church, and there will be divisions.
二 我们若不强调生命,就会重复基督教的历史,就是分裂和许多街道的历史。
B. If we fail to emphasize life, we will repeat the history of Christianity, which is a story of divisions and of many streets.
三 神子民日常生活的独一道路,乃是涌流在神圣性情里的神圣生命,从羔羊神的宝座流出来─1节:
C. The unique way for the daily life of God's people is the divine life flowing in the divine nature, proceeding out of the throne of the Lamb-God—v. 1:
1 为着神荣耀的生命的流,该在我们里面居首位─1节,参结四七1,四三2。
1. The flow of life for God's glory should have the preeminence within us—v. 1; cf. Ezek. 47:1; 43:2.
2 我们需要活在那涌流在我们里面之神圣生命的限制和管治下,然后恩典才能在我们里面作王掌权,使我们在生命中作王─罗五17,21,来四16。
2. We need to live under the restriction and ruling of the divine life flowing within us; then grace can reign within us for us to reign in life—Rom. 5:17, 21; Heb. 4:16.
3 这条联于宝座并从宝座出来的街道乃是“交通的街道”;神圣的交通将神带给所有蒙神救赎的人,好将他们带回归祂自己作他们的宝座,使祂能在他们里面有金的行政管理─启二一18下,二二1~2,二一21下,参结一22,26,王上十18。
3. The street connected to and coming out of the throne is a "fellowship street"; the divine fellowship brings God to all His redeemed people in order to bring them back to Himself as their throne for His golden administration within them—Rev. 21:18b; 22:1-2; 21:21b; cf. Ezek. 1:22, 26; 1 Kings 10:18.
4 “无论你要往那里,无论你要作什么事,如果你感觉在那件事上往前会使水流停止,你就必须停下来。要停下来,好维持涌流。为要维持这涌流,你必须停止一切不是出于主的活动,就是任何不出于里面水流的事。”(神圣的水流,一二至一三页。)
4. "Wherever you are going and whatever you are about to do, if there is the sense that the flowing of the stream will be stopped by proceeding in that matter, then you must stop. Stop in order to maintain the flowing. To maintain the flowing you must refrain from all those activities which are not of the Lord, that is, which are not of the flowing of the stream within you" (The Divine Stream, p. 12).
叁 主生活和职事的榜样,神命定之路就是要有一种生活和工作,一直是窄的、狭的─约五19,四34,十七4,十四10,24,五30,七6,18:
III. The God-ordained way is to have a living and working which are always narrow and constricted, according to the pattern of the Lord's life and ministry—John 5:19; 4:34; 17:4; 14:10, 24; 5:30; 7:6, 18:
一 我们既是在主恢复里的人,就必须能说,我们不是走基督教的路,乃是走狭路:
A. As ones in the Lord's recovery, we must be able to say that we are not taking the way of Christianity but the way of constriction:
1 虽然我们要看见众召会中有扩增,但我们不要有阔路上的扩增,乃要有在狭路上的扩增;基督教里的人在礼拜时,可以使用摇滚乐,或其它属世的方法,但我们不能,因为我们的路是狭的。
1. Although we want to see the increase in all the churches, we do not want the increase on the broad way but on the constricted way; those in Christianity can use rock music or other worldly methods in their services, but we cannot, because our way is constricted.
2 主恢复中的狭路乃是天父旨意的路,是照着祂的生命和性情─太七21~23。
2. The constricted way in the Lord's recovery is the way of the heavenly Father's will according to His life and nature—Matt. 7:21-23.
3 我们若照着人的观念和天然的作法生活工作,我们的生活和工作就是盖在沉陷的沙土上;这就是进宽门,走那引到毁坏的阔路─24~27节。
3. If we live and work according to our human concepts and natural ways, our living and work will be founded on sinking sand; this is to enter the wide gate and walk on the broad way that leads to destruction—vv. 24-27.
4 这里的毁坏不是指人的沉沦,乃是指人行为和工作的毁坏─林前三15。
4. Destruction here does not refer to the perishing of the person himself, but to the destruction of a person's deeds and works—1 Cor. 3:15.
二 我们在主恢复里的人必须在灵里行事为人;在灵里行事为人约束我们,使我们过正常的基督徒生活,成为有活力、健康的信徒─罗八4,加五16,22~23,帖前五16~18。
B. We in the Lord's recovery must walk in our spirit; walking in spirit restricts us, causing us to live a normal, Christian life and making us vital, healthy believers—Rom. 8:4; Gal. 5:16, 22-23; 1 Thes. 5:16-18.
三 主在神圣生命水流里的工作,产生宝贵的材料,为着神的建造;这样生机的工作不是重担,乃是安息─林前十五58,十六10,创二10~12,启二一18~21,太十一28~30:
C. The work of the Lord in the flowing of the divine life issues in precious material for God's building; such organic work is not a burden but a rest— 1 Cor. 15:58; 16:10; Gen. 2:10-12; Rev. 21:18-21; Matt. 11:28-30:
1 在召会的事奉中,我们不是仅仅努力把事情作成;我们的事奉必须是向人流出生命,成为生命的供应─约七38~39,林后三6,约壹五16上。
1. In the church service, we are not endeavoring to merely do things successfully; our service must be life flowing out to others as a ministry of life—John 7:38-39; 2 Cor. 3:6; 1 John 5:16a.
2 我们必须学习照着度量的神,管治的神,所分给我们之尺度的度量,在我们的劳苦上约束自己─林后十13~14,约十五5,徒二十19~20,31。
2. We must learn to restrict ourselves in our labor according to the measure of the rule which the God of measure, the ruling God, has apportioned to us— 2 Cor. 10:13-14; John 15:5; Acts 20:19-20, 31.
肆 “当那日,许多人要对我说,主阿,主阿,我们不是在你的名里预言过,在你的名里赶鬼过,并在你的名里行过许多异能么?那时,我要向他们宣告:我从来不认识你们,你们这些行不法的人,离开我去罢”─太七22~23:
IV. "Many will say to Me in that day, Lord, Lord, was it not in Your name that we prophesied, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name did many works of power? And then I will declare to them: I never knew you. Depart from Me, you workers of lawlessness"—Matt. 7:22-23:
一 这里的“认识”,意思是称许;主从来不称许那些在祂的名里,却不照着天父的旨意作工的人;因此祂看他们是行不法的人─参约壹三4,帖后二3,7。
A. Here the word knew means "approved"; the Lord never approved those who worked in His name yet did not do things according to the will of the heavenly Father; thus, He considered them to be workers of lawlessness—cf. 1 John 3:4; 2 Thes. 2:3, 7.
二 “若有人爱神,这人乃是神所知道的”─林前八3:
B. "If anyone loves God, this one is known by Him"—1 Cor. 8:3:
1 说神不知道你们,意思是祂不称许你们的作法─参启二2~4。
1. To say that God does not know you means that He does not approve of your way—cf. Rev. 2:2-4.
2 为神所知道,意思是为神所拥有、占有;神所知道的人,就成为神的产业、喜乐、娱乐和喜悦─参西一10。
2. To be known by God means to be owned and possessed by Him; the one who is known by God becomes God's possession, joy, entertainment, and pleasure—cf. Col. 1:10.
三 在主的恢复中有神圣生命和神圣性情限制的跑道,我们必须在跑道内奔跑我们基督徒的赛程,好在主的审判台前蒙祂称许─林前九24~27,林后五9~10。
C. There are constricting lines of the divine life and the divine nature in the Lord's recovery, and we must run the Christian race between these lines to be approved by the Lord at His judgment seat—1 Cor. 9:24-27; 2 Cor. 5:9-10.
